OUTREACH SUPPORT WORKER
37 HOURS PER WEEK, MONDAY - FRIDAY
COVERING CHESHIRE & SURROUNDING AREAS, BASED AT CHESTER
SALARY CIRCA £15,000 DEPENDANT ON EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Our Outreach Team provides housing related support to D/deaf people living in their own homes across Cheshire and surrounding areas, funded through Supporting People. In this post you will be assessing clients’ needs and putting together Support Plans which enable and empower them to live as independently as possible.
Support may be around managing their tenancy, budgeting, life skills and supporting them in accessing local services. You will be visiting clients in their own homes or within any one of our offices.
The ability to communicate in British Sign Language is essential to this role, therefore you should hold a BSL Level 2 certificate as a minimum standard, or have equivalent experience.
As part of your role you will be required to complete relevant paperwork and adhere to the quality and standards set out by Supporting People. This position will involve regular travel across Cheshire & the surrounding areas, therefore a full driving licence and own transport is essential to the role. Our employment package includes:

We are looking to supplement the range of skills and experience that we already have on the board particularly by recruiting individuals who may have experience in the following areas:
- Financial expertise –this person may be a chartered accountant.
- Marketing and public relations at a senior level.
- Legal expertise
- Investment management including commercial property.
We continue to seek people who would be willing in due course to chair the Board.
Successful applicants will have a good understanding of the principles which govern UK charities, experience of strategic planning (in the business or not-for-profit sector), as well as experience of setting goals and monitoring their achievement.

SUPPORTED LIVING SUPPORT WORKERS, NORTHWICH
39.375 HRS FULL TIME, ON A SHIFT BASIS, OR FIXED PART TIME HRS UP TO A MAX OF 20 HRS P/W
SALARY CIRCA £13,445.68-£15,000 PRO RATA DEPENDANT ON EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Our Supported Living Service provides a supportive environment for D/deaf adults who have additional learning difficulties &/or challenging behaviour.
You will enable Tenants to be part of community life by using local facilities & services in the area, help to empower Tenants in finding appropriate employment opportunities through guidance & support & encouraging Tenants to increase their involvement in the day-to-day running of their own home.
We are looking to expand our team of Support Workers, based at Stepping Stones, Lavender Lodge & our two smaller cluster homes in Northwich. In these positions you will be providing support & elements of personal care to our Tenants, to enable them to live a fulfilling & stimulating life.
These are exciting, rewarding & challenging positions where you will be able to make a real difference to someone’s life.
As these posts involve working closely with D/deaf people you should have a certificate in BSL Level 1, or the ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge.

We are looking to recruit a Support Worker on Waking Nights, to provide 1-2-1 support to one of our Tenants, who may be awakened during the night.
Based at Stepping Stones, you will be providing support & elements of personal care, to enable them to live a fulfilling & stimulating life.

As these posts involve working closely with D/deaf people you should have a certificate in BSL Level 1, or the ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge.
