The Truth Project of the Independent Iniquiry into Child Sexual Abuse announces today the opportunity for Deaf victims and survivors to share their experiences by video link. Sessions will be facilitated in BSL by Deaf people. SignHealth will provide support for booking and through the process by WhatsApp, SMS text, email or video. The Inquiry has also commissioned a short dramatic film, developed and directed by Deaf people, which shows a Deaf survivor in his search for and journey through the Truth Project. This can be seen here. The film depicts events that some people may find distressing.
