Finance Officer

Permanent – Northwich

30 hours per week, over 4 days

£26,000 per annum plus £500 increase on completion of probation

We are looking for a part qualified, QBE AAT, ACCA/CIMA candidate in the mid stages of study looking for a new challenge.

A superb role for progression, reporting directly to the CEO, this is an opportunity for development, study & exposure to the Executive Team/ Board of Trustees, where you will be able to influence & broaden your career skills, through Strategic Board Planning.

The post forms part of future proofing the organisation, for the right individual, to provide academic & personal career growth.

Key elements of the role include:

  • Overall control of accounting and finance functions
  • liaising with & providing advice to budget holders to ensure income & expenditure targets are met
  • processing & provision of financial information & advice internally & externally
  • full production of the monthly management accounts, cashflow, payroll, nominal ledgers

As this post involves communicating with D/deaf people, you should preferably have a certificate in BSL Level 1, or the ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge; this is not essential as full training will be given.
