DESCRIPTION:This qualification is designed to enable learners to communicate with Deaf people in British Sign Language (BSL) on a range of topics which involve simple\, everyday language and leads to completion of the Unit 101 of the BSL Level 1 course. \nLearners who complete this unit then have the option of continuing on their BSL Level 1 journey by attending a follow-on course to complete Units 102 and 103 in order to gain the full qualification. \nWho is the course for: \n\nPeople with little or no experience of sign language.\nFor those who want to learn basic language skills in order to communicate simple conversations with Deaf people\nSuitable for both Deaf and hearing applicants.\nThose who are parents\, family\, friends or colleagues of Deaf people\n\nDate: 2 June 2026 – 23 June 2026  \nCost: £120
