SUMMARY:BSL Level 2 Course
DESCRIPTION:This qualification is designed to enable learners to develop their skills to communicate with Deaf people using British Sign Language (BSL) in a range of everyday situations. \nThe qualification will allow learners to participate in longer and more varied conversations than at Level 1. \nThe course will develop communication in BSL about real life\, routine and daily experiences. \nThe learner will be able to deal with most routine communication and have enough understanding of grammar to cope with some non-routine communication. \nLearners should be taught a number of regional variations in sign language. \n\n\nWe are a Signature approved centre\, meaning all qualifications are regulated by Ofqual and ensure the quality of learning demonstrated will meet the requirements of the UK Occupational Language Standards for each level. \nModules \n\nIntroduction\nUnit BSL201 – BSL Receptive Skills\nUnit BSL202 – BSL Productive Skills\nUnit BSL203 – BSL Conversational Skills\n\nDate: 20 April 2026 – 7 December 2026 \nCost: £630
