LEVEL 3 COURSE IN BRITISH SIGN LANGUAGE

Delivered face-to-face in a classroom setting, our Level 3 Certificate qualification in British Sign Language meets the learning needs of those who already have competence in BSL at Level 2 and are interested in developing their skills and knowledge.

At the end of the qualification, learners will be able to:

• understand and use varied BSL in a range of work and social situations, demonstrating competence at Level 3 of the UK Occupational Language Standards, Instructus 2012.
• possess an advanced knowledge of the structure and function of BSL and an understanding of the Deaf Community and Deaf Culture.

We are a Signature approved centre, meaning all qualifications are regulated by Ofqual and ensure the quality of learning demonstrated will meet the requirements of the UK Occupational Language Standards for each level.

Date:  Monday 01 March 2027 – Monday 29 November 2027 (35 weeks)

Time:  6.00 – 9.00 pm

Venue: Ty Calon, Queensferry Campus, Chester Road West, Queensferry, Deeside, Flintshire, CH5 1SA

Cost:  £700 – Full Cost.  Can be paid in full on booking or a registration fee can be paid to secure your place and the remainder can be paid in full or by instalments.

Registration Fee:  £220.  The registration fee will secure your place on the course and you will be contacted shortly after booking with further details of how to pay the balance or if you want to pay in instalments, you will be contacted by our Finance team with further details around 2 weeks prior to the course commencing.

Instalments will be 3 payments of £160.  These will be payable starting from the end of April 27.
