Supported Living

Our Supported Living services provide excellent accommodation within a friendly and supportive environment, for Deaf and Deafblind adults with additional learning disabilities and/or complex needs. We are driven by the desire to enable enhanced independence for all our tenants, and to encourage personal growth and development.

Our four group homes provide support and care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year

A total communication approach is adopted throughout our homes. All staff are British Sign Language (BSL) users, enabling us to create an environment of total inclusion which enriches the personal and social development of our service users

The development of life skills are a focus for us, and all care and support programmes are tailored to each individual’s needs.

It is also important for us to encourage our Service Users to achieve their own personal goals and aspirations; live life to the full and embrace new challenges and experiences.

Care Quality Commission Rating

Our Supported Living and Day Services are Regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). This means that we have legal requirements and regulations associated with the Health and Social Care Act 2008, and inspectors look at the overall quality of the service and provide a rating for the service under the Care Act 2014.
